This collaborative, faculty-driven, two-year project was funded by the Georgian College Research, Innovation and Scholarship Fund. The study sought to examine both faculties’ and students’ understanding, perceptions, attitudes and experiences of academic integrity at the college level. Their understanding was measured by assessing their application of knowledge and mental representation of academic integrity. Specifically, their ability to define and identify academic integrity. Their perception of academic integrity which looks at their understanding of the relationship between the factors underlying academic integrity and their attitudes were measured and examined based on their behaviour as it relates to academic integrity. Additionally, their experience with academic integrity was assessed by self-declarations of identification or participation in any academic integrity violations.
